Y3 Sponsored Walk

By | News, Visits, Year 3

We had a fabulous morning, walking 3.2 miles in total. A few tired children but lots of fun had. Thank you again to all the parents and grandparents that joined us, and to Ziggy the cockerpoo for lots of fuss!

Practising the 3 and 4 X tables!

By | Homework, Maths, News, Year 3

At the end of November we will be having a test of our knowledge of the 3 and 4 times tables. I will giving questions to test the tables but also the corresponding division facts.

The following website is great to practise and is tablet friendly. We have been using it at school and the children really enjoy it.

Miss Gretton

Year 3 Teacher

I am thrilled to be teaching year 3 after many enjoyable years in KS1. I look forward to guiding your children on the next stage of their learning journey. I have lots of exciting topics to engage your children, starting off with ‘The Victorians’.

Another important role I hold at school is overseeing the provision of specialist support for children identified as having special educational needs. I work closely with children and their families to ensure their child receives the best level of support to help them achieve their best.

In my spare time, I like to travel the world and be active. Most weekends you can find me walking with my dogs in the Peak District.
