Bridge Building Day
The children do not know this yet, but London Bridge has fallen down!!!!!
They are going to be tasked with designing and making a new one.
I would like to invite parents/carers/grandparents who are available to come into school for the morning of 27th March 2023 from 8:45 till about 11am to help the children make the bridges.
I have done this in the past and it was a fun morning with each child having an adult to support them. Here are some photos from the website to show you what we did.
Do not worry if you cannot stay for the full morning you can stay for as long as you are able and I know the children will love to share this experience with you.
We will need to collect many resources, particularly boxes, tubes, string, newspaper, masking tape etc, so please begin saving boxes etc.
We look forward to seeing you there for what promises to be a fun, exciting and messy morning.
