KS2 Library – New Arrivals

A massive thank to all families who have generously donated books to the School Library – every single book is greatly appreciated by all of us here at St. Alban’s – the adults and the children. Future donations are always welcome!!!

What’s new:

  • The first five series (26 books) of the Secret Kingdom by Rosie Banks – suitable for Y3/4 readers. (Kindly donated by Alice in Y4)
  • Beetle Boy by M.G. Leonard (Kindly donated by Bea in Y6).
  • Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman, The Scarecrow and his Servant by Phillip Pullman and The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot.

KS2 Reading Changes

As many you may be aware, there has been a change to the way children are bringing home their reading books. Here is a guide to what is remaining the same and what is changing.

KS2 Library – New Arrivals

Check out our new arrivals in the School Library:

  • A Beano annual from 2023. There is a boy in my class who is very excited about this one.
  • Some beautiful poetry books from a range of authors.
  • A wide range of books from the Bard himself, William Shakespeare (all abridged from Y5/6). King Lear is one of my favourites.
  • A Young Sherlock Homes for this who enjoy a good mystery.

 

School Library – New Arrivals

Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dogman, Lottie Brooks and Marvel Comics were requested in the Recommendations Box by pupils. Mrs Gurner requested the Diary of a Disciple books and the rest are kind donations from the St. Alban’s Community – Thank you!
