St. Alban’s Houses
In 2016 a House system was introduced to the school, taking the names of significant places in the Bible. House points are awarded for outstanding effort and exceptional quality work as well as for any child who has shown positive attitudes that go above and beyond the normal high expectation.
Children are allocated a house shortly after they join the school and siblings are in the same house to maintain family tradition. The St Alban’s Cup is awarded each term to the house with the most points.
House leaders participate in our bespoke leadership program led by the Head of School. Every half term they are set a leadership challenge to improve their leadership skills and to drive whole school priorities.
Each house represents our school values: Carmel (courage), Sinai (seek wisdom), Jericho (resilience) and Jordan (hope and aspiration).
