It will be World Book Day on Thursday 7th March this year. We would like to celebrate by dressing up on the day, but this year our theme won’t be a book. Instead we would like the children to dress up as a word! This will also compliment the vocabulary instruction we have been focussing on in our classes.
There are lots of ideas for words and costumes on the internet. Here are just a few below.
There will be house point prizes for each class and a whole school vocabulary parade in the hall for everyone to admire your vocabulary choices.
