Earlier in the week, Year 3 were having lots of fun experimenting with different types of rocks. We observed the rocks carefully and tested them in several ways to to compare the rocks properties. We used lots of new, tricky scientific language including permeable, impermeable and density. Before the experiment, we made predictions about which rocks would float (low density) and which would sink (high density.)
