Hello, I’m Mr Dawson and together with Mrs Habbin, I’d like to welcome you to our class and our classroom, which is an exciting, inspiring and happy place to grow and learn.
My favourite children’s author is Roald Dahl, and my favourite subject is history.
This summer we will be focusing our writing around The Last Wolf by Mini Grey, and reading Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl. In history, we shall focus on famous and influential people from the past, ranging from Barack Obama to Florence Nightingale. In Geography we will learn about hot and cold places and what it is like to live in a hot climate. Athletics is the basis of our activities in PE, and for RE we learn about Creation. We look into the work of Henri Rousseau and Frederic Edwin Church in art and we are investigating different materials and their characteristics in science.
Spellings are tested on Thursdays and changed on Fridays.
Library Books are changed on Fridays.
