Sports Day

By News, Sport, Sporting Excellence

On Tuesday KS2 had their annual sports day. Luckily, the rain stayed away and the event was a huge success.

The whole school dressed in their house colours and the competition was tough.

Many parents approached staff and commented on how they prefer the new way that Mrs Jepson has organised Sports Day. It gave an opportunity for the children to show off their sports skills and they liked the fact that the children were always active.

St Alban’s Wins A Sports Award

By Sport, Sporting Excellence, Year 3, Year 4

On Tuesday Mrs Jepson was awarded a trophy for The Best Primary School PE and Activity. At the award ceremony Ruby (Y3), Ruma, Lexi-Mae, Isabelle, Ava and Abigail (Y4) performed a superb gymnastic routine that stole the show.

Well done girls and thank you Mrs Jepson for all of your hard work. Mrs Jepson organizes all of our sports competitions. Spending most of her play and lunch times training the children for the events. On behalf of all of staff, parents and children I’d like to say a very special thank you.
