Dear Parents,
We remain closed today as side roads are icy and dangerous, and we have insufficient staff to open in a Covid safe way. Normally, on a snow day, we put classes together or go in the hall together with local staff running the school and this is how we manage our reduced staffing levels, but we are unable to do this at the moment because we can’t mix bubbles safely.
We are sorry if this causes you any problems, and hate having to close for you all…this was a hard decision to make!
Lessons online for everyone this morning. Some tasks will be posted for this afternoon – and it would be wonderful if there is enough snow around by then for a Big St Alban’s Snowman Competition!
Thanks everyone – stay safe xxxx

Dear FS2 Parent/Carer,
Hopefully (if children are back in school) on Thursday 18th March your child will have an eye test.
For this to happen, please complete the attached electronic consent form and email it to our school office: stalbans@sap.dsat.education.
I’ve also posted a copy of this form on the class dojo.
Thank you,
Mrs Gurner
A huge thank you to parents, pupils and staff this week, for being adaptable and throwing yourselves into our new way of working with such enthusiasm! You all deserve a lovely weekend off!
I have attached for your information a letter about online learning here. There are some important points in the letter that you need to read, so please take the time to look through this, paying particular attention to the bold text.
Take care everyone and happy Friday!
Mrs Adair and Mrs Gurner
