Dear parents and carers,
We are pleased to announce that DSAT now have an Education Welfare Officer, Alison Hallewell.
Alison’s main role will be to monitor attendance across all of our schools and support families to develop good attendance. Alison can also support with Early Help referrals.
After half term, she will be organising regular parent drop-ins on a Wednesday afternoon. More information to follow.
Thank you,
Mrs Gurner

Even though we were all very disappointed about the picnic being cancelled, we still had a lovely afternoon together.
Here are a few photos of the children, even nursery, singing the National Anthem and parading their crowns.
Wishing you a restful weekend, celebrating this historical event.
Thank you,
Mrs Gurner
Last night the PTA hosted their first auction. This week we were all slightly nervous. Unsure if the event would come together – but I am thrilled to announce that it was a HUGE success!
Mr Thompson hosted the evening and had us all in fits of giggles.
Thank you so much to everyone who made the auction happen. Thank you to the PTA, the kind companies that gave generous donations and the volunteers who served canapés and drinks.
We are so blessed to have you as part of our school community.
The PTA will let you know how much money they have raised shortly. All money raised will go towards creating a reading hub and quiet area in the key stage 2 playground.
Thank you,
Mrs Gurner

Good morning,
The PTA auction is taking place on Wednesday 26th April. There are some amazing lots that have been kindly donated by local business- thank you.
The PTA are getting a little worried as ticket sales are low. Tomorrow, Leanne and Katie will be purchasing canapés and drinks and so are encouraging people to get tickets prior to the event. You can purchase tickets at the school office or on school money, shop item.
If you can’t make the auction, then feel free to view the items at 5:30pm and place a maximum bid with Mr Thompson.
Those that attend the evening auction at 7:00pm are in for a treat with live entertainment and some mystery lots!
All money raised will go towards building a reading cabin and quiet garden area in the KS2 playground.
The lots are attached to this message- this Wednesday, grab yourself a bargain!
Thank you,
Mrs Gurner
