Today was our annual trip to Rotherham Civic Theatre to watch this year’s pantomime: Robin Hood. The children were all fantastic and had a wonderful time.

Year 5 have been working on our first pencil dictionaries. We decided to extend our pattern vocabulary by looking at patterns drawn on Christmas trees, baubles and stars. We then chose our own Christmas designs to create individual Christmas cards.
Well, the final assembly for 2023 was quite lively! We sang Christmas songs, danced, and had a great time. Nursery even joined us for a few songs, and our wonderful Year 6 children did an excellent job looking after them.

Dear parents and carers,
I don’t know about you, but it feels like we are wrapping up for the Christmas Holidays unusually late this year. The past eight weeks have been brimming with pantomimes, discos, nativities, and a many more festive activities.
On Thursday, we will be finishing our school day at 1:30 pm. This early closure schedule also applies on the last day of school in the summer. We know that dates can occasionally be overlooked on ClassDojo and text messages, so to ensure everyone stays well-informed, we encourage you to subscribe to the school calendar, accessible at the bottom of the page.

The FS2-Y6 children will visit the fair with their class, so they will need to come to school with some pocket money.
Parents/Grandparents are also welcome to visit the fair with your children after school.
There will be a variety of stalls and prices will range from 30p to £3.
We would really appreciate buns and chocolate/sweet donations for our cake stall and tombola.
